Andrea grew up in Brazil, where her family often went camping, diving, and exploring nature. This instilled in her a deep connection to the natural world that influences her writing.

The story was inspired by Andrea's son, Sean, who she describes as being "full of life, happiness, and friendliness," similar to the jaguar cub Seanny in the story.

Conservation efforts: In addition to writing, Andrea has created a YouTube channel, @ecoterraxp, and a website to sell adventure gear. The goal of these ventures is to help fund forest conservation projects.
